Take a scenic ride on the lake and learn about the historical and natural features of the park. Donations will be accepted for the Friends of PGSP.

All participants will need to wear a PFD, one will be provided for you. Children under 30 pounds must provide their own PFDs (life jackets). Minimum age 4 years old.

The pontoon boat is not ADA accessible because it sits above the dock.

Times of Tours (Tours will last about an hour and thirty minutes)

11:00am 1:30 pm

*Meet at the Main Marina in front of the Boat Rental Building (on Gibbons Road) Get there at least 10 minutes before the tour to begin boarding. Tours will leave at the specified time to stay on schedule with tours throughout the day.

Pontoon boat rides will be cancelled in the event of inclement weather or high winds.

This event is a FREE outdoor recreation fair for people of all ages and skill levels. There will be a variety of booths and stations set up for everyone to visit at their own pace, and will include disc golf, geocaching, fishing, archery, Kayak Instruction, guided hikes, camping, and more! Most stations will give visitors the opportunity to try out a new activity, while others will provide information (camping, volunteering). Registration is not required for the day but may be required for kayaking. All equipment for these activities will be provided, and fishing licenses are not required if fishing under an instructor’s direction.
