Nockamixon State Park

The 5,286-acre Nockamixon State Park is in the rolling hills of scenic Bucks County, close enough to Philadelphia for a day trip, but far enough away for a vacation. Tohickon Creek, Three Mile Run and Haycock Run feed the 1,450-acre Lake Nockamixon, which is a rest stop for migrating waterfowl and a destination for boaters and anglers. Visitors can stay the night in a cabin or enjoy the many activities of the park for the day. Popular activities are picnicking, visiting the pool, hiking, biking and boating.

Good morning all,
Recently, one of our users posted what I believe was intended as a comment but which came up as an event submission. Although the event was accidentally deleted, I wanted to respond, hoping that individual and more would see this.
Thanks so much for your interest in our First Day Hikes. More than 20 hikes have been planned across the state to inspire us all to begin 2016 with a healthy, outdoor pursuit. Nockamixon State Park does not have a hike planned this year for a variety of reasons but we welcome any and all to check out the "First Day Hikes" tab on the main calendar of events page to find other options close by. We also welcome our users to enjoy the park on January 1 on their own.
