The Yough River Sojourn is a paddling adventure that explores the Youghiogheny River watershed all the way from The Yough Lake Dam to Layton, PA, in small day trip segments. The Lower Yough will be our 3rd, and most challenging segment of the Yough River Sojourn. Join park naturalists as we take on challenging rapids and learn about the unique and diverse Youghiogheny River Gorge. Participants must provide their own equipment and be capable of paddling class III+ whitewater. The park will provide a driver shuttle at the end of the river.
