Wonderful World of Warblers
Wonderful World of Warblers
Warbler migration is at full peak! Join park naturalist Rob Bergstresser in search of these stunning and fascinating neo-tropical birds. Warblers can be notoriously difficult to observe and identify, but we’ll teach you some proven methods and tips for locating, observing, and identifying these beautiful birds. This will be an easy-to-moderately difficult 2 to 2.5-mile hike around our Day Use Area, with a possible stop at the Pine Run Boat Launch.
All ages and experience levels are invited. Participants should bring their own water and snacks if needed. Participants are strongly encouraged to bring their own binoculars, but a very limited number are available for use during the program.
We will be meeting at the EIC for this program.
Registration is REQUIRED, as group size is limited. Please register each individual attending, separately.
***PLEASE NOTE*** Masks/face coverings MUST be worn during the program and participants are expected to follow social distancing guidelines at all times. Participants should bring their own hand sanitizer.
