Enjoy a fun day outdoors learning skills in friendly, non-competitive activities. Engaging, hands on choice of sessions include:
10:15 AM – 11:00 AM – Morning Session: Fly Tying / Archery /Edibles
11:15 AM – Noon – Fly Tying2/ crossbows/Edibles
Noon – 12:45 PM – Campfire Lunch
1:00 – 1:45 PM – Afternoon session: Outdoor Equipment review/Fly Pole Casting /Tracking
2:00 PM – 2:45 PM Afternoon Rotation
3:00 PM- 3:45 PM – Natural dyes with Tie-dye t-shirts
3:45 PM – 4:00 PM – Wrap up and sharing
Preregistration is required and open to women ages 14 and older with 18 spots available. Go to the DCNR calendar of events website, search for Prince Gallitzin State Park and click on the Women of the West Branch information. Select “Register”.
