Winter Walk and Talk #1: Winter Weeds and Trees

In this first of a series of programs, join a park naturalist for a Sunday afternoon in the park as we take an easy-to-moderate hike and discuss a variety of different winter topics, which may include winter trees and plants, animal and insect signs, winter weather, snowshoeing, and more. Each program will focus on a specific topic. For this program, we will talk about winter weeds and trees, what plants you are still seeing this far into the season, and how to identify them.

Meet at Pavilion #1 at Pickerel Pond Day-use Area and be prepared to walk about 2-miles. No registration required, just show up!

Contact Vinny Curtis at vicurtis@pa.gov or (814) 674-1000x105 for more info. Free program.
