This Winter Solstice Forest Therapy Walk offers a unique and transformative experience for individuals seeking a deep connection with nature.
Led by Forest Therapy Guide Robert Sarnoski Mind Body Simple, LLC, this guided walk takes participants on a journey through the enchanting winter forest, allowing them to immerse themselves in its tranquil beauty. The walk is designed to harness the energy of the winter solstice, the shortest day and longest night of the year.
Through a series of invitations and activities throughout the walk, participants can tap into their own innate healing abilities and find solace amidst the rejuvenating power of nature during this sacred time of year.
Meet-up for the walk will be at McConnell Hall, next to the Nolde Mansion.
Please dress accordingly for the weather. Long pants and close toe shoes are also recommended. Feel free to bring anything that will make your walk more comfortable such as a walking stick, water bottle and a sense of curiosity.
Registration is required.
**Due to the increasing popularity of our programming and the growing number of people on the waitlist for programs, we require a 24-hour cancellation notice for all programs. This will allow us time to reach out to other participants/families on the wait list and allow them to fill your spot. Individuals who repeatedly do not cancel before the program and who repeatedly do not show up to the program will be prohibited from signing up for future programs.**
