Canceled due to high chance of hazardous weather. Take a hike in the crisp winter air, with the option of adding miles to the NCT 100-mile challenge! The North Country Trail winds past beaver dams, over the Hidden River bridge, and through woods along the North Shore of Moraine. We will go out and back the trail, about three miles in all. You have the option to turn back anytime to make the hike shorter or go further as you wish. Take the North Shore exit off 422 and follow signs to the Bike Rental on North Shore Drive (do not use 225 Pleasant Valley address). Join us at the North Country Trailhead, at the far end of the bike rental parking lot. Hikes are open to all ages and may include friendly dogs on leashes. Wear sturdy shoes, dress for the weather and the outdoors (Severe or dangerous weather cancels event automatically) and bring your own drink and snacks.
