Registration for our Winter Women in the Wilds is full at this time.

The Winter Women in the Wilds is a 3-day event, beginning Friday, February 6, at 6:00 PM, through Sunday, February 8, at 1:00 PM.

The Women in the Wilds event at Sinnemahoning State Park is a ladies-only weekend filled with fun outdoor recreation and environmental education classes.

Activity choices for our 2026 winter event will include a mixture of indoor and outdoor classes such as cross-country skiing, snowshoeing,  interpretive walks, nature crafts, Dutch oven cooking, and more.

Fee is $100 per person. Program fee includes choice of six outdoor recreation and interpretive classes, One dinner, two lunches, plus all program materials and supplies.

Equipment for cross country skiing and snowshoeing will be provided. Sizes are limited.

Program fee does NOT include overnight accommodations or breakfast either day.

All participants are responsible for finding and paying for their own overnight accommodations. A list of local cabins, B&Bs, and motels will be provided upon request.

Registration for the Winter WITW event is being managed by PA Parks and Forests Foundation and will open on Monday, December 1, 2025.

Registration closes on January 24, 2026 or when all spots have been taken.
