Join Endless Mountains Heritage Region for a refreshing winter hike at Vosburg State Park outside of Tunkhannock on Saturday, Jan. 18! Participants will meet at the Park at 470 Vosburg Rd, Tunkhannock, PA 18657 at 1 p.m.

We will combine the River, Eagle and Canal Trails along with Vosburg Road for about 4 miles in total. The different landscapes participants will see will be woodland, the Susquehanna River, and farmland. Hikers should wear appropriate clothing and footwear (hiking shoes or boots) and have a sufficient supply of water with them. During the hike, participants will hear from DCNR’s Environmental Education Specialist, Amanda MacTarnaghan, who will share her knowledge on local wildlife and the tracks they leave at the park. After the hike, there will be hot chocolate to warm up with. 

The event is free and open to the public, we just ask that you please register for this event so that we may get a headcount for the hike and prepare.
