Just because there are no leaves doesn't mean you can't figure out what kind of tree you're looking at. Join us at Vosburg Neck State Park for an introductory outdoor lesson on how to identify some of the common trees we have in the park's day-use area. We'll focus on trees with unique bark, twigs or buds.

We will be observing trees around the boat launch, Walnut Loop, River and Canal Trails. Though we may not travel the entirety of all these trails, please be prepared for stop and go walking, as well as the occasional stepping off the trail into tall grass or brush.
