Update 12/20: New, shorter time, from 12 PM to 1 PM. There's much more ice on the lake than typical this time of year! While great for people ice fishing, the frozen lake means likely less visible wildlife than expected.

As one of the few large lakes in Potter County, the lake at Lyman Run State Park serves as a valuable stop-over habitat for many different types of migrating waterbirds and as home for other wildlife. Stop by the top of the dam and scope the lake with a park naturalist looking for eagles, grebes, otter, and more.
