Join Naturalist Robin Tracey from Tuscarora State Park for a hike at Swatara State Park on Thursday, July 5, 2018.   The trail is 8 miles in length and moderate.  The trail runs parallel to Swatara Creek.  We will be hiking down to the old steel bridge and crossing to make a loop around the back part of the park. We will also be hiking down to Bordner cabin.  We will meet in the parking lot on Sand Siding Rd just off of Route 443 in Suedberg at 10:30 am.  Bring a lunch and water.  Dogs are welcome, but must be leashed and get along with other pets and people.   Contact Robin at 570-467-2506 for more information.  Shine only.

The Swatara Wildflower Walk is cancelled.  The park is closed due to heavy flood damage.  We will be meeting at the South end of Walmart in St Clair instead and hiking to Wolf Creek Falls at 10:30 am on July 5, 2018.  The hike is 7.5 miles and difficult.  You must register by calling Robin at 570-467-2506.  Shine only.
