Wildflower Walk and BioBlitz

There is a CONSTANT struggle for survival going on all around us and many of us never realize it's happening. The first buds of spring are a true example of this phenomenon for many reasons. Join the park naturalist at the beach house for a short walk across the bridge and around the pine loop to see what's blooming and WHY it's blooming now!

We'll also take this opportunity to introduce you to the iNaturalist app so that you can help us see just how many flowers are in bloom right now!

Registration is not required, simply meet at the beach house ready for a fun and educational walk. Please plan to arrive a few minutes early to sign in. Be sure to check the weather and dress accordingly as the program will occur rain or shine. Wear comfortable shoes for walking and clothes that you don't mind getting dirty.

You can contact Jean with any questions at jkeene@pa.gov.
