Join the park's naturalist for a leisurely trail hike to look for beautiful spring wildlfowers; this is a great time of year to find spring ephemerals such as Bloodroot, Trout Lily & Dutchman's Breeches! This is also the time of year that migratory birds will be moving through the area, so we may get a chance to do some bird watching.
We will hike between 1-3 miles on uneven terrain with some elevation changes (hills) in search of wildflowers. Please wear sturdy hiking boots or hiking shoes, dress in layers, and bring plenty of water, a snack & a wildflower ID guide (if you have one).

I never saw so many types of wildflowers just in one small location! Some I have growing at home and thought they were weeds. Great group of people and another good hike with Katie!
