Wildflower Evening Walk

The Slippery Rock Natural Area, a lesser known, unconnected, part of Moraine State Park, is set aside to preserve some unique plant habitats.  This area is home to a variety of wildflowers bursting forth in spring. Learn how preserving habitat in this area helps some special native plants. Simple trails wind through these 93 acres, we will hike about one mile or less, learning wildflowers along the way. Located along the Slippery Rock Creek, across from Slippery Rock Campground (which is 1150 West Park Road, 16057), one half mile south of route 108. about five miles north of the Bike Rental north on West Park Road.
