Wild, Wonderful Waterfowl

Join Park Naturalist Rob Bergstresser for an up-close look at migrating waterfowl. A wide array of waterfowl species migrate through the park starting in mid-to-late fall. We will visit a couple prime locations in the park for viewing these beautiful birds! We will be using spotting scopes to view distant waterfowl, and basic instruction will be given on the use of spotting scopes. Participants are also encouraged to bring their own binoculars/spotting scopes.

Pre-registration is REQUIRED and limited to 15 participants!

We will be meeting at the EIC for this program. All minors must be accompanied by an adult. Please register EACH individual SEPARATELY!

***COVID-19 guidelines: ALL participants over the age of 2 MUST wear a mask during all programs. Exceptions will be given to those with medical conditions. CDC guidelines for social distancing will be in effect for all programs. Spotting scopes will be repeatedly sanitized throughout the program, and guests will be given disposable safety glasses that must be worn while viewing birds through the scope.
