Pollinating insects are vital to our survival! Join educators from the PA Game Commission, DCNR – PA State Parks, and Wildwood Park for a fun, interactive, and educational workshop on pollinators. Learn about the many species of pollinating insects, other creatures that pollinate, and their crucial role in the food chain for both wildlife and people.
Explore why we should be concerned about the threats to pollinators and how you and your students can help. Participants will engage in hands-on activities (both indoors & out) from the award-winning Project WILD K-12 Curriculum & Activity Guide. All participants will receive the newly revised Project WILD K-12 Curriculum & Activity Guide & other teaching resources.
The Project WILD guide is aligned to the NGSS standards, and it addresses the PA Academic standards. This training is open to pre-service teachers, classroom teachers, non-formal Educators, 4H Leaders, Homeschool Parents, and more.
