Use the clue in the following rhyme to find the park naturalist and learn about something special here at Cowans Gap.  When you arrive, please keep social distance from other participants.

Limit of 3 family groups at a time, this is a short program which will repeat as needed. 

CLUE:

This one feature, made this the main route,

For westward movement, be they pioneers or troops,

The best place to see this, and find me today,

Is along the lake shore, where the water falls away,

So don’t you worry, It’s not a trap,

You will get to learn, just what is a gap.

• Programs are limited in attendance. Available slots for programs will be filled on a first come basis.
• Masks are required for unvaccinated visitors. Masks are recommended but not required for fully vaccinated visitors. 
• We are still encouraging social distancing at our programs.  Families that live under the same roof, may be closer, but should maintain social distance from others not in their group.
