What Good Are Bats?

Friday, October 15: What Good are Bats6:00 pm

Meet outside at Wheaton House ~ Presentation afterwards indoors

Do bats make you go batty?  Or do you think spooky Halloween thoughts?  Bats feel right at home in the nighttime skies, and you are invited to find out how vital bats are for the environment and us! Join us for this presentation to learn things you never knew about the only mammal capable of true flight and the problems they face.

Environmental Education Specialist, Tony DeSantis, will "dispel your fears" with some astounding bat facts and a presentation on our PA Bat population.  Program will start outside the Wheaton House just after sunset at dusk to see IF we can catch a glimpse and “listen” to our "bat residents" at Salt Springs Park!  The program will move indoors for presentation.

Program Fee: $5.00 per person; kids and FSSP members free.
