Wednesday Walk - Tree ID

Trees are all around us - in fact, there are over 100 species found regularly in PA. But can you tell a spruce from a fir? How about a Norway Maple from a Sugar Maple? Learn tips and tricks to ID'ing some of our common backyard trees using bark, leaves, and seeds and discover the diversity of trees around you.

This walk will take place in the gravel paths of the East Area and then along the Mill Race Trail. We will meet near the stage in the East Area. If you are in need of special accommodations, please email mmarker@pa.gov prior to the event. Masks must be worn by unvaccinated visitors when social distancing is not possible.
