Watershed Education is an educational, interdisciplinary, watershed based program for students in grades 6-12. Activities are coordinated to highlight a local watershed, show relationships to a larger water basin, discover the historic and current character of the watershed communities, and develop student-led investigations for collecting data and making connections between water quality and societal actions. Using a hybrid design of virtual and inperson instruction, the workshop offers 12 Act 48 hours over two days: Virtual on Tuesday, October 24th from 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM and in person on Saturday, November 4th at Prince Gallitzin State Park from 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
