*This is a blended Virtual and in-person Institute.*
Do you want to learn more about incorporating inquiry into your classroom and creating Meaningful Watershed Education Experiences (MWEE) for your students? Participants in the Kings Gap Watershed Institute will learn valuable skills that will support engaging outdoor learning experiences through virtual meetings, online learning opportunities, self-guided investigations, online group work, and time for reflection and application.
Participants are asked to complete the MWEE101 Online Course prior to the start of the institute and will receive resources and materials to help in completion of course assignments. Successful completion of the course and the final project will qualify participants for a $550 stipend and provide access to funding to assist in creating and implementing an action project as part of their MWEE.
Participants can earn 50 ACT 48 hours for full course attendance plus 3 additional hours for the Online MWEE101 Course.
