Join us for The Great Backyard Bird Count at Delaware Canal State Park! The Great Backyard Bird Count is a citizen science project hosted yearly by Cornell. It provides us the opportunity to help scientist learn more about birds by documenting and sharing what we see with them. For our park count, we will be at the Giving Pond Recreation Area and be on special lookout for waterfowl (though we will count other birds too)! There will be a limited number of binoculars to borrow for this program, so please bring your own if you have them. All experience levels welcome. 

This hike may be cancelled or postponed in the event of inclement weather or hazardous driving conditions.
