Waterfowl Walk

Come out and enjoy a morning of birding with Moraine State Park staff and members of the Bartramian Audubon Society.  Moraine is a top birding destination, so you may see grebes, gadwalls, mallards, ring-necked ducks, redheads, lesser and greater scaup, wood ducks, blue or green winged teal, or ruddy ducks. Loons, scoters, or cormorants may be stopping by the lake as they will be migrating through this month as well. If we are lucky, we may also see the beautiful tundra swans. We will drive to several locations near the lake for shoreline walks.  Interested birders from all skill levels from beginners to experts are welcome.  Bring binoculars if you have them.  If not, we will have binoculars on hand for you to use.  So, just bring your enthusiasm, water, snacks and sharp eyes and ears.  Dress for the weather.
