Waterfalls invoke a sense of wonder and adventure. Come find your adventurous side with park staff, driving to several trailheads to target waterfalls in the park. We will leave the picnic area for Alpha Falls, the highest fall in the park, then hike down to the Slippery Rock Creek on the North Country Trail. We will then trek along the creek, past the historical gristmill and out next waterfall, Kildoo Falls. Back to the picnic area, where we will drive to the trailhead for Breakneck Falls. This hike is challenging in sections, about three miles total hiking distance, so hikers should wear sturdy footwear and be prepared to traverse steep, rocky and uneven terrain. Bring plenty of water, a pack lunch for on the trail, and trail snacks to keep your energy up and spirits high on this hike to the waterfalls.
