Community wellness event held in H.P. Way Park, which was recently renovated to be more of a gathering hub for the neighborhood.

Will be located at H.P. Way park, on the north end of town. The park has a basketball court and playground, as well as a large athletic field. We will work with Meadville Medical Center and other community health stakeholders to populate the field with various wellness activities. Some activities include blood pressure checks, grip test, tick awareness information, easy yoga stretching, drug & alcohol information, etc. We will have a doctor on hand to lead three 30-minute walks around the walking path in the park. These will be staggered throughout the three hour event, so as to allow as many residents to take advantage as possible. 

This will be a .5 mile loop walk on an accessible pavement trail, bathrooms are availale at the trail head.
