Join retired DCNR Service Forester Frank Snyder for a casual stroll along flat trails that loop around the property. Tree species and understory shrubs will be identified and points of interests will be highlighted. As the group discovers this beautiful forested landscape, trail guides will engage in conversations with participants to enhance their outdoor experience. Attendees will learn about the importance of the Upper Swatara Creek which borders the northern portion of the property and the wildlife found there. Offering peace and solitude, many bird watchers frequent the area throughout the year. Pets are not permitted.
