You are invited to join staff from Moshannon State Forest and Wildlife Technology students from Penn State-DuBois for this Fall's Walk in Penns Woods. The students will teach tree and shrub identification skills along the moderately-sloped Old Horse Trail windinig through S.B. Elliott State Park and Moshannon State Forest. This education-focused hike is moderate in rigor as it spans terrain ranging from rolling upland slopes to wet bottomlands. Please wear study, water-resistant footwear and outdoor attire. The trail is not wheelchair or stroller accessible. Primitive bathroom faciliities are available at the Park. Pets on a leash are invited to join. Registration is not necessry.
