Join DCNR Bureau of Forestry Staff for Pennsylvania Forestry Association's Walk in Penns Woods. We will be hiking into the Old Growth Hemlocks in the Dutlinger Natural Area on Sunday, October 6th via Beech Bottom Trail. This is an advanced hike totaling 6 miles with moderate elevation change. You will have the opportunity to learn about the significance of old growth forests and how the Bureau of Forestry manages these important ecosystems. Registration is required! Registered participants will receive detailed information prior to the event.
