Bring your dog(s), and enjoy a hike with the park naturalist. We'll be hiking the 2.0-mile moderately difficult Sawmill Trail, and cover some tips for keeping your pup safe while hiking. Rain will cancel the hike.

***All dogs must be friendly, and physically controlled on a 6 ft. leash or shorter. Limit of 2 dogs per adult hiker. 

*We will be meeting at the Sawmill Trailhead off of Old Mill Road.

 Directions from Beltzville State Park:

Turn left out of the park’s main entrance. Proceed past the Army Corps of Engineers building & go approximately 1 mile. Look for a Big Creek Grange sign on the left. Turn LEFT onto Grange Road. At the bottom of the hill, turn LEFT onto Old Mill Road. You will pass 3 houses on the left. After the last house, turn LEFT into the Sawmill Trail parking lot. PLEASE NOTE - The entrance to the Sawmill Trail parking lot is unmarked. If you proceed over the small bridge, you went TOO FAR!
