DESCRIPTION:The Friends of Davis Hollow Cabin will be hosting a workday at 
 the Historic Davis Hollow Cabin located at Moraine State Park. Consider he
 lping and meeting new people who have a love for cultural history and hist
 oric structures. Work will entail general clean-up and landscaping in prep
 aration for the rental season. Other tasks will involve painting\, moving 
 furniture\, general cleaning\, wiping down windows\, yard work and other t
 asks as needed. Great for ages 15 and up. No experience necessary. Trainin
 g and limited tools will be provided. Feel free to stop in at any time thr
 oughout the day to lend a hand\, meet other volunteers and tour the cabin.
  No registration necessary but is encouraged for larger groups. \n\nPartic
 ipants are encouraged to bring a dish to share\, and the Friends of Davis 
 Hollow Cabin will provide grilled food for lunch. If available\, please br
 ing work gloves\, tools\, cleaning supplies\, buckets\, weed eater\, garde
 n rake\, hand trimmers\, cloppers or saws. Dress for the weather and bring
  your own water. \n\nThe Friends of Davis Hollow Cabin is one of the newes
 t chapters with The Pennsylvania Parks and Forests Foundation (PPFF). The 
 goal of the Friend of Davis Hollow Cabin is to maintain the cabin for park
  visitors to utilize and experience rather than observe as a museum. \n\nC
 all the park office for directions. Looking forward to a productive volunt
 eer workday as we continue to make improvements to Davis Hollow Cabin.
