Volunteer Day

It’s almost Earth Day! Join park staff as we work on several projects to get the park looking its best for the busy season. We’ll be cleaning up the pollinator garden, placing and filling raised garden beds, and picking up any litter we find around the day use area. Come dressed for the weather and bring a sack lunch. The park will supply coffee and snacks. The park has all necessary equipment, including gloves, but if you have your own favorite pair, feel free to bring them! REMINDER: The bridge by the park office is CLOSED. To reach the park office, enter the park through Plumer. Take Rt. 227 to Petroleum Center Road. Continue on for 2 miles until you see the park office on the right. Contact 814.676.5915 for further direction if needed.
