Learn how easy it is to turn table scraps and yard trimmings in to “black gold” otherwise known as compost! Join a Park Naturalist from 2PM to 3PM on Saturday September 25, 2021 and learn how to compost in your own backyard with minimal materials.This is an introductory class for those new to composting. We will explore the “do’s” and “don’ts” of composting as well as different methods.

After registering, you will be sent a link to join the program via Microsoft TEAMS the morning of September 25th. This program is geared towards adults but can also be a great way to introduce children to the skill of composting. There is no fee. Please register by September 24th
Programming is subject to modification or cancellation at the discretion of park staff.
