DESCRIPTION:This program will be held virtually via Microsoft TEAMS – it 
 will not take place in the park.\n\nEvery year in the month of March\, Par
 ker Dam State Park makes pure maple syrup\, and instructs visitors about h
 ow they can make their own at home.  We have also been conducting maple su
 garing “distance learning” sessions (virtual interactive webinar) with
  schools for the last four years\, and this year we are expanding our virt
 ual maple sugaring program to others who may be interested in this type of
  program\, because there will be no in-person Maple Sugaring programs at t
 he park in 2021 due to COVID-19 restrictions.  \n\nThis virtual maple suga
 ring program series is progressive and will cover different aspects of sug
 aring each week.  Programs are estimated to be 30 to 45 minutes in length.
 \n\nThis program will cover the history of maple sugaring\, how sap moves 
 through the tree\, and how the techniques of sugaring have changed over th
 e years\, and yet remain the same.
