It's that time of year, we will start to listen for the drumming of the grouse! To the untrained ear, it might sound like a vehicle struggling to start in the distance. But soon male grouse will be taking to their drumming logs and creating quite a commotion! Sadly though, the grouse has declined throughout much of it's range. Join in to learn about the ruffed grouse, why it is declining, and what biologists and parks are doing to help.
