Virtual Lunchtime Lecture: Maple Tapping & ID

1579 State Park Road, Newport, PA 17074-9428

Free Event

Feb. 7th program cancelled - join us instead on Feb. 16th with Chapman State Park!

So you want to get into maple syrup? Maple sugaring is a fun and relatively easy thing to look forward to in the "gloomier" months of the year! But to get started, you need to be able to identify your maples and learn the basics of tapping them. Join us for one of two similar sessions focused on maple tapping! On Feb. 7th the program will be led by Little Buffalo park Naturalist Mindy Marker & on Feb. 16th it will be led by Chapman State Park naturalist Jennifer Moore

You must register to receive the link. This program will be virtual on Microsoft Teams. Please check the link ahead of the program to make sure you can access it properly. All links to Teams for Little Buffalo will be the same - therefore, by registering for one of this series, you can access all of them. If you require special accommodations, please reach out to mmarker@pa.gov ahead of the program to discuss.
