Virtual Lunchtime Lecture: Eastern Woodland Tribes

November is Native American heritage month, so we would like to introduce some of the earliest people to settle this continent. We will focus on tribes of the Eastern woodlands, particularly the area that is now Pennsylvania, and how they changed over time. We'll also look at how they lived and relied on the land and wildlife that was so abundant in Penn's Woods.

This program is being held virtually via Teams. You must register to get the link to the program. Register by clicking the green register button for this program. The Teams link will be the same for all November programs, so you should be able to re-join each Monday and Wednesday with one registration. If you have questions or require accommodations, please email me ahead of the program at mmarker@pa.gov or call us at 717-567-9255.
