Virtual Lunchtime Lecture: American Woodcock
1579 State Park Road, Newport, PA 17074-9428
Big-eye, bogsucker, timberdoodle, night partridge, Labrador twister, bog snipe. What do these funny names have in common? They are all referring to the American Woodcock! This beautiful little charismatic bird is returning to PA in March and puts on an amazing display when it gets here. Guest speaker Rebecca Payne from King's Gap State Park will introduce us to this incredible little bird.
