Find out what you need to know before you visit Cherry Springs, such as what to bring, how to best plan an evening stargazing, and how to observe several objects in the night sky.
This program is designed for first-time or novice stargazers. Our park professionals will get you observing stars, constellations, planets, the moon, artificial satellites such as the space station, meteors, aurora and even the milky way. We’ll also highlight Cherry Springs State Park, why it is one of the best places to go stargazing, and what you need to know to make the most of your visit.
After registering, you will receive an email with the link to join the program. This presentation is best viewed on a desktop or larger tablet. *Note: This program does NOT take place at the park.
