Learn how easy it is to turn table scraps and yard trimmings in to “black gold” otherwise known as compost!  Join a Park Educator from 10AM to 11AM on Saturday February 19, 2022 and learn how to compost in your own backyard with minimal materials.  This is an introductory class for those new to composting. We will explore the “do’s” and “don’ts” of composting as well as different methods. Register by clicking on the green "Register" button. Please register by February 18.  After registering, you will be sent a link to join the program via Microsoft TEAMS the morning of February 19th. This program is geared towards adults but can also be a great way to introduce children to the skill of composting. There is no fee. This program may be modified or cancelled at discretion of park staff.
