Invite a veteran and come hiking at Moraine on the Glacier Ridge Trail. The hilly terrain is scenic, and the trail (rated difficult to moderate) connects with the North Country Trail to make a loop of about two miles. All are welcome to come along as we hike on a day to honor our veterans. Bring your favorite trail snacks and your own drinking water. Dress for the weather and wear sturdy footwear. Meet at the shoreline opposite and under the bridge from the 528 Launch, PA-528, Slippery Rock, PA 16057. This is north on 528 from the Prospect exit. While some snow makes it fun, severe weather or dangerous road conditions automatically cancels event.
