Vernal Equinox Tai Chi Flow - Five Elements Form
Vernal Equinox Tai Chi Flow - Five Elements Form
3025 New Holland Road, Reading, PA 19607
March is Vernal Equinox time - a time each year when we welcome Spring and gear up for warmer months.
When we look at the seasonal changes and shifts in the natural world we see that it is made up of life-supporting elements such as fire, earth, metal/air, water, and wood.
Based on an understanding of the elements and their natures, the movements in the Five Elements Form help us to create the best conditions for the elements in our bodies to stay in those healthy, positive cycles, keeping our energy in a balanced, steady flow while the seasons shift within and around us.
Join us in the forest for a group practice of harmonizing movements. It’s something we can do for the planet and for ourselves, and it’s easy to follow along! It’s the perfect practice for occasions like the Vernal Equinox and/or Earth Month (April) when we recognize and reaffirm our place in the world and our relationship with nature.
After, we will share in some seasonal treats and good company.
Perfect for beginners and all levels.
This flow is a simple, easy way to incorporate a grounding practice into your daily life. All levels will be able to take what they learn during the program and apply it throughout the Spring, in celebration of Earth Day (April 22) and even as a connecting practice during World Tai Chi day (April 25).
