***Meeting location: Bull's Island Recreation Area,  2185 Daniel Bray Hwy, Stockton, NJ 08559 (about 3.5 miles north of Stockton on the NJ side)

Join the naturalists from both Delaware Canal State Park and Delaware & Raritan Canal State Park for a ~3 mile paddle in the D&R canal from Bulls' Island, NJ south to Prallsville Mill followed by a ~4 mile hike from Prallsville Mill across the river to Centre Bridge, PA then north on the Delaware Canal towpath to Lumberville & back to Bull's Island!

We will be rewarded along the way with beautiful views of the Delaware River, both canals & two unique bridges.  There is a very good possibility that we will observe bald eagles or other raptors & waterfowl on this paddle & hike!

Kayaks, paddles & life vests will be provided by the parks.  If you are borrowing equipment, there is a $10 requested donation.  

Please dress in non-cotton layers, bring at least 2 liters of water,  and pack a hearty snack or lunch.  Heavy rain or thunderstorms cancel this program.
