Twilight & Full "Supermoon" Trek!
11 Lodi Hill Road, Upper Black Eddy, PA 18972-9540
***Pre-registration is appreciated: please click the green "register" button to sign up for this program.***
Come join us on this moderately paced 4 - 5 mile towpath hike! We'll listen for owls & keep an eye out for other nocturnal critters.
We will meet at the park office, then hike south towards the Giving Pond as the sun is setting and the full supermoon is rising. After exploring the covered bridge in Uhlerstown (this is the only covered bridge that remains along the Delaware Canal!), we will return to the park office for some hot chocolate or tea.
Please dress warmly in non-cotton layers, wear sturdy shoes & bring a flashlight or headlamp in case of cloud cover. Please BYOM (bring your own mug) if you would like to enjoy a hot drink post-hike!
