CANCELED - Turtle Program

CANCELED - Amid concerns about the potential spread of COVID-19, all public programs, events, and trainings in state parks and forests are canceled through April 30.
Except for the parks and forests that have been announced as closed, state park and forest facilities remain open.

Meet at the TREC and learn from a Park Naturalist about several different species of turtles found in the wild at Presque Isle. Families with children of all ages are welcome. There will be live turtles to view, as well as, a tour of the Aqualab where they live. Space is limited.

No fee. Please call the park office at 814-833-7424 to register no later than March 25.

Programming is subject to modification or cancellation at the discretion of park staff. If you need an accommodation to participate in Park activities due to a disability, please contact Presque Isle State Park at 814-833-7424 to make arrangements for your visit. With at least three days’ notice, interpreters for people who are deaf or hard of hearing are available for educational programs. Please call the Erie ASL Interpreters’ Office at (814) 806-2511 for more information about this service.
