Fall has arrived, and so has the beautiful foliage! Why do leaves turn different colors in the fall? Why do deciduous trees lose their leaves in the fall, but coniferous trees retain their needles? What do animals do to prepare for a long winter? For our final "Trekking Beltzville Series" of the year, we'll answer all these questions, and more. We'll be hiking the beautiful Trinity Gorge Trail off of Evergreen Drive, during near-peak fall foliage. This will be an easy-to-moderate 2.5 to 3-mile hike. Participants should wear sturdy walking/hiking shoes and bring water.
Registration is required for this program, as space is limited. Please register each individual attending, separately.
