Tree Identification Walk – Thursday, October 6, 2022

5:00 PM – 7:00 PM – Meet at Five Points Group Tent Area – Moraine

Are you up for some friendly competition and learning about native trees in Pennsylvania?  Then this program is for you.  Join park naturalists Mike Shaffer and Megan Stephenson from Moraine State Park, along with local forester Jessica Pierce with the Bureau of Forestry from the Clear Creek Forest District on a Tree Identification Walk.  Participants will compete against one another for prizes and bragging rights on this fun filled walk.  All participants will receive prizes, learn tips on tree identification and see the largest Northern Red Oak at Moraine State Park.
