Trail Workday

Moraine State Park trail crew will be conducting trail work on the Pleasant Valley Trail located on the South Shore and will be sponsored by the park’s friends’ group; Moraine Preservation Fund. Work will entail removing invasive plants, improving trail tread hiking surface, cutting back vegetative overgrowth, and removing any debris off the trail. Great for ages 15 and up. No experience necessary. Training and limited tools will be provided. Please bring if you have weed trimmer, garden rake, hand trimmers, loppers or saws. Meet at the Pleasant Valley Trail Head located near the bathroom and PV Picnic area near the PV non-powered boat launch area, on right approx. ¼ mile past the park office. Directions or questions, please contact the park office. Looking forward to a productive trail day as we continue to make improvements to trail system at Moraine State Park.
