CANCELLED due to weather! Look for a rescheduled October date within the next couple days.
Join the park naturalist as we hike a different trail each Thursday morning, September 1st through September 22nd, focusing on a different theme for each hike.
The September 22nd hike will showcase the Trinity Gorge Trail. We will hike the western portion of the trail, and loop back around via the beautiful shoreline “spur” trail. This will be a moderately difficult 3.0 to 3.5-mile hike. We will take an in-depth look at the many invasive plants and animals that call the park home, and the best methods for controlling them. Participants should wear sturdy walking/hiking shoes, and bring bug spray. *Rain will cancel the hike.
We will be meeting at the Trinity Gorge Trailhead (west) parking lot off of Evergreen Drive. The general GPS address for the entrance road off of Evergreen Drive is 700 Evergreen Drive, Lehighton, PA 18235. Please note that the entrance is unmarked. There is a yellow gate at the entrance road to the trailhead. For more detailed directions, you can call the park office 7 days a week (8am-4pm), at 610-377-0045, or email the park naturalist at email@example.com.
Registration is REQUIRED, as group size is limited. Please register each individual attending, separately.
